ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) has established in the year 2020 with intake of 180. CSE(AI-ML) is programme with advanced learning solutions imparting knowledge of advanced innovations such as machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, etc. This specialization is designed to enable students to build intelligent systems, software, or applications with a cutting-edge combination of artificial intelligence, machine learning, analytics and visualization technologies.
The main goal of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) is to provide the intelligence through complex program to solve a given problem. In real world, many successful applications are based on machine learning, including systems that analyze past sales data to predict customer behavior, financial management, face recognition, speech recognition, image processing, optimize robot behavior, recommender systems in e-commerce, etc. so that a task can be completed using minimum resources.Â
Ample career opportunities exist in public and private sectors such as health care industry, manufacturing, e-commerce, social networks, etc., to name few. The jobs in AI include Software analysts and developers, Computer scientists and computer engineers, AI Algorithm specialists, Research scientists, AI &ML Engineer, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Scientist, AI Software Engineer and so on.
