Established in the year 2020, the department has B.Tech degree in Cyber security with an intake of 60. Cyber Security engineer’s capacity is known as network security engineer, data security engineer or Information technology security engineer. The role of a Cyber Security engineer is rotate into a different field of computer science. Cyber security always have high range of scope. It is about new expertise and employed to realize new technology. New provocation will keep crap and will know the reveal to a multitude of new mankind, circumstances, and chance.The request for Cyber Security engineers will carry on with all the fields that depends futher on digital platforms.

Mitigate these risks to levels acceptable to the campus. Define security requirements , establish baselines and measure compliance based on applicable laws, regulations and best practices.

Dr. V. SATHIYASUNTHARAM is working as Professor and Head of Department , Computer Science and Engineering- CYBER SECURITY in CMR Engineering College, Kandlakoya (V), Medchal (M), Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He has 17 years of experience in teaching and 10 years of experience in the field of Research. He has completed his B.Tech(IT) from Madras University and M.E(CSE) in Anna University and his Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from SHRI VENKATESHWARA UNIVERSITY,Gajraula, Utter Pradesh, India.
His research interests include Cyber security, Network security Issues, Data science and Big data ,other networks Issues. He is a Lifetime member of CSI and ISTE, IAENG. He has published 42 research papers in Journals and conferences and Presented 14 Papers in International conferences. Appointed as Interview Panel Member for “Project Engineer” Recruitment at CDAC Hyderabad (Govt)on 5-2-2019. Dr.V.Sathiyasuntharam got granted Patent on “SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AN INTELLIGENT PUBLIC GRIEVANCE REPORTING PLATFORM.
