Aim & Objective:
The primary aim of this seminar is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in Cognitive Data Science Applications in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, and to create a forum for discussing recent advances in this area, to understand better the practical challenges in designing and developing Cognitive Learning Model for various applications.

Description
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has conducted a Two Day Workshop on: “Recent Applications in Cognitive Learning with Data Science” 18th & 19th November 2019 to meet out curriculum gap between Industry and Academics. This Program was conducted with the Support Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, Govt of India in CMREC . The total number of students participated was 100. The Speaker, Dr.R K Selva Kumar, Professor /CSE, C V R College of Engineering deliver the Speech and Conducted the Hands on Training Session using python
The programme was started by inaugural session. In the inaugural session HOD CSE Dr. Sheo Kumar, have shared the dais along with the resource person followed by Dr.R K Selva Kumar, Professor /CSE, C V R College of Engineering. The inaugural session has started with handover the bouquet to the resource person. Dr.R K Selva Kumar, addressed the gathering.
In this Workshop, he has addressed about the Cognitive Learning, explained the basic functionalities of Cognitive, how its related to learning factors of human and also he explained the various algorithm like supervised, unsupervised learning. Then he explained about the Role and relationships of Cognitive Computing within the network of closely related scientific domains such as Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Semantic Web and Linked Data
In the practical section he explained the basics of python programming, packages which are used to implement the learning concepts with data sets. He explained with some examples by using the data sets
At the end of the Guest Lecture most of the students are satisfied and feedback says that it will be quite helpful for them for future perspective.
Valedictory function followed by certificate distribution to all the participants by Dr.A.Srinivasula Reddy , Principal CMREC & Dr .Sheo Kumar HOD, CSE and Resource Person. The workshop has ended with Felicitation and presenting memento to the resource person
