Property and Facilities Asset Maintenance Policy
1. The Institute’s overall infrastructure is made up of both basic elements, such as buildings, playgrounds, and classrooms, and sophisticated features, such as lab spaces and classrooms with ICT capabilities.
2. The PG and UG laboratories are overseen by the heads of the corresponding departments. The Departments provide curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular facilities that are all freely accessible to all students. However, they are all closely supervised by a faculty member who serves as the class coordinator and is in charge of that particular class.
3. Among its many other goals, the National Service Scheme (NSS), a non-profit organization, is required to provide equitable education as a tool for the socio-cultural emancipation, the economic empowerment of the impoverished masses, and the development of character, competence, and commitment. There is an independent engineering section of the NSS. When there is a need for work to create, maintain, or develop the infrastructure, the College notifies the NSS. Eventually, the engineering wing presents ideas and satisfies the College’s requirements.
In order to achieve the objectives set by the institution, the management and principal maintains strong working relationships among faculties and other institutions, in support of students. The institute ensures all kinds of support and assistance towards the development of the college after having a budgetary allocation of fund for various purposes. Each year a nominal amount is collected from the students getting admission to UG and PG courses at the time of admission and it is earmarked for providing facilities to improve the physical condition of college and for the welfare of the students. The institute provides fund for day to day maintenance of the college including electricity, water and other service charges, appointing teaching and non teaching staff over and above the sanctioned posts for the smooth functioning of the academic and administrative activities, funding for academic programs like seminars, conferences/workshops, conducting ceremonies, college beautification, women empowerment, co curricular activities, merit awards for academic and extracurricular excellence and other staff and students welfare programs.
