Inside CMREC’s AI Digital Campus
Engineering education is changing fast, and CMR Engineering College (CMREC), Hyderabad has responded by building what it calls an “AI Digital Campus” — a set of initiatives designed to bring real AI tools and industry platforms directly into students’ day-to-day learning.
Agent AI Labs
At the center of this initiative are CMREC’s Agent AI Labs, powered by iamNeo, an NIIT venture. These labs give students hands-on exposure to AI agent technology and applied AI workflows — moving beyond theoretical coursework into practical, tool-based learning that mirrors how AI is actually used in the industry today.
AI-Enabled Learning
CMREC has also built AI-enabled learning capabilities in partnership with Google Cloud and iamNeo, integrating cloud-based AI tools directly into the learning experience across departments. For students in CSE, CSE (AI & ML), and CSE (Data Science) in particular, this means working with the same cloud platforms widely used across the tech industry.
AI Smart Classrooms
Classrooms across CMREC’s campus are being upgraded with AI-powered smart classroom technology supported by Teachmint, aimed at making lectures more interactive and learning more adaptive to individual student needs.
AI Certifications
To help students build credentials that are recognized well beyond campus, CMREC offers AI certification pathways empowered by Google Cloud and Salesforce — giving students the opportunity to earn industry-recognized certifications alongside their degree.
