Big Data Analytics Lab is a part of III B.Tech for R20 Regulation CSE-DS students. This lab provides practical exposure to handling large-scale data processing using distributed computing frameworks. It introduces students to Hadoop ecosystem components, data manipulation using MapReduce, Hive, and Pig, and builds familiarity with big data tools and platforms. The lab helps students understand the challenges of big data storage, processing, and analysis through hands-on experiments.

The expected outcomes from the students are:

• Implement basic operations using Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).
• Develop and execute MapReduce programs for data processing.
• Use Pig Latin and HiveQL to perform data analysis tasks.
• Understand and implement data summarization, filtering, and aggregation techniques using big data tools.
• Explore real-time big data processing frameworks and tools.
• Gain the ability to work with big data analytics platforms to solve complex problems.
