TUTORIALS

Tutorials are digital resources that give students hands-on practice for building skills in a low-stakes environment. Topics covered in tutorials are broken down into smaller parts that allow students to progress, step by step, through different activities to gain more exposure to the material. This is one example of the steps you will follow in a tutorial:

  • What do you know
  • What do you learn
  • Read
  • Apply
  • Conclusion

You will always receive a completion grade of 100% when you finish a tutorial activity, but keep in mind the purpose of a tutorial is for you to get more exposure to the material by building skills through practice. Despite the automatic grade given, your instructors can choose to adjust that grade. Students are notified at the start of the tutorial that their instructor may do so.
Although they may be labeled differently from one another, we have tutorials for several of our disciplines.
