Admission PROCEDURE
B.TECH (ALL DISCIPLINES) Duration: 4 years
B.Tech Programme Of the sanctioned intake in a branch of engineering,70% of the seats are filled under Category ‘A’ and 30% of the seats are filled under Category ‘B’.
Eligibility:
U.G. Courses (I Year B.Tech)
Category – A
A student must have passed the Intermediate Examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized by the Government of Telangana as its equivalent
The admissions for Category ‘A’ seats are conducted by the convener, TG-EAPCET through Web Councelling based on TG-EAPCET rank as per the rules of reservation for admisssion into professsional colleges in Telangana our college code is CMRN.For other details visit https://tgeapcet.nic.in/
“B” Category:
The admissions under ‘B’ category will be made by the management of the College following the guidelines given by TGCHE, Hyderabad.
A student should either have obtained a rank or should have secured a minimum aggregate percentage of 50% in group subjects (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) in the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana or any other examination recognized by the Government of Telangana as its equivalent.
U.G. Courses (Lateral Entry B.Tech) :
The admissions are made by Govt. of Telangana through Centralized Counseling. The students have to qualify in 3 years Diploma course or equivalent exam and must qualify TGECET exam conducted by Govt. of Telangana. The admissions will be made through web counseling.
P.G. Courses (M.Tech):
Category – A
The admissions into A Category are made by Govt. of Telangana through Centralized Counseling. The students have to qualify in B.Tech or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% and must qualify GATE/TGPGECET exam conducted by Govt. of Telangana The admissions will be made through web/online counseling.
“B” Category:
The admissions under ‘B’ category will be made by the management of the College following the guidelines given by TGCHE, Hyderabad.

The Admissions Committee is responsible for the graduate student admissions in the program. This committee will also develop contacts with other relevant graduate admissions committees with the goal of identifying potential candidates who would be more appropriate for the B. Tech program. The admissions committee endeavors to identify applicants from various junior colleges. Applicants to be identified by the committee and, when possible, invited to visit the campus. In addition, the admissions committee tracks the success of the admissions process each day during admissions by maintaining a database of pertinent information on the applicants. This committee reviews admission requirements for the program annually.
The functions of the Committee:
- To improve the admissions quality with well defined policies
- To disseminate and comply with all the rules and regulations of admissions as prescribed by Govt. and statutory agencies.
- To create a brand value and awareness about the institute.
- To provide best counseling to students and parents who come to seek admissions
- To guide the students and parents in making effective decisions
- To guide admitted students to complete the admission procedure like paying fees, getting roll nos., getting hostel admission, getting I-card, fulfilling eligibility criteria, getting time tables etc.
