Institutions Innovation Council (IIC)
The Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) is an initiative by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), Government of India, aimed at fostering a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup ecosystem within educational institutions. Established in collaboration with AICTE, the IIC framework encourages higher education institutions (HEIs) to systematically promote innovation through various activities.
Objectives of Institutions Innovation Council
- Encourage the Innovation: Create an ecosystem that nurtures innovative thinking and problem-solving.
- Promote Startups & Entrepreneurship: Support students and faculty in launching their entrepreneurial ventures.
