About Training & Placements
The Training & Placement Cell facilitates the process of placement of students passing out from the Institute besides collaborating with loading organizations and institutes in setting up of internships, CoE’s, MoU’s and training programs for students. The office liaises with various industrial establishments, corporate houses etc which conduct campus interviews and select students from all disciplines. The Training & Placement Cell provides the infra-structural facilities to conduct group discussions, tests and interviews besides catering to other Training & Placements logistics. The Office interacts with many industries in the country, of which nearly 100-150 companies visit the campus for holding campus interviews. The industries which approach the institute come under the purview of: Core Engineering industries, IT & IT enabled services, Manufacturing Industries, Consultancy Firms, Finance Companies, Management Organisations, R&D Organizations.
The Training & Placement Cell at CMR Engineering College provides personal and career-oriented support to its students. The Training & Placement Cell facilitates the process of placement of students passing out from the Institute besides collaborating with leading organizations and institutes in setting up of internships, CoE’s, MoU’s and training programs for students. The main motive is to enable the students to effectively cope with academics at college and also for successful careers after graduating from the college. Apart from the training provided during the regular course curriculum, the college also provides an extensive training program to prepare the students for the recruitment process in their final year. The college engages specialized trainers for conducting this training. The effectiveness of the training is evident from the consistent and remarkable placement record. Our placement policy is holistic and well balanced making us a prominent choice for the companies who wish to hold placement drives.

He received his Ph.D from Noida International University, Greater Noida, He completed his M.E in Power System & Power Electronics from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, affiliated to Osmania University. He is very passionate person and popular among students and HR fraternity. Presently working as Training & Placement officer for CMR Engineering College, Hyderabad.
He has got over INR 34lakhs of Research Funding and Consultancy works. He has published over 20 Research papers in International Journals and 15 International/National conference papers. He has over 10 patents published and 1 Granted Indian Patent. He published 2 text books as Author and 1 International book Chapter. He has more than 16 years of Research, Industry and Teaching experience. He is a member of IEEE, ISTE, IETE, IAENG, NTPO etc. He is a reviewer for reputed journals like Springer Energy Systems, Artificial Intelligence etc.
He won Best Teacher Award for 3 consecutive years at CMREC and Best Training & Placement Officer award at National Level. He orients students with interview techniques, soft skills, art of negotiation and prepares them for industry need. He is highly dedicated person and established good relationship among corporates. To enhance students knowledge for Industry requirement, he had successfully accomplished MOU’s between CMREC & major Industries & Corporates.

Career Guidance Cell (CGC) aims to provide assistance and advice to student in career planning and
provides information that helps the students achieve their aspirations and interest. The CGC helps the
students realize their strengths and weaknesses by instilling self awareness, decision making skills,
planning skills, personality development etc.
- To give Training and Guidance to students on career related matters and assist them in exploring
new opportunities - To provide information about further course prerequisites, financial aid, academic planning,

CMREC Language Improvement Programme(CLIP)
CMREC Language Improvement Programme (CLIP) has been introduced to the student fraternity of CMREC, to enrich LSRW Skills as well as to upgrade the Prospects Of Career Development. In addition to it, CLIP is helpful to the students, who aspire to fulfilling their dreams to pursue higher studies in the abroad. Personality Development Skills, Professional Practices are being inculcate in the CLIP curriculum. Dr. A. S. Reddy garu, the Principal of CMREC has initiated the neo-classical concept of implementing CLIP in CMREC, to benefit the student community to elevate their Career Oriented Language Learning skills. The English team strategically designed the syllabus of CLIP and relentlessly doing various tasks of it with the budding engineers of CMREC.
