This FDP covers technologies required to build classic (traditional), basic application using Python 3.4.3 & Python Django. These programming Languages include computing and building the various application virtualization using Python 3.4.3 & Python Django. Additional areas of focus include, Introduction to python, Introduction to basic level of understanding concepts, how to create the matrix, lists, basic programming related concepts.
Description
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has conducted the Faculty Development Program on Python 3.4.3 & Python Django in collaboration with Spoken Tutorial, IIT-Bombay from 08th to 13th June 2020. This Program was conducted in collaboration with the Spoken Tutorial, IIT-Bombay, in CMREC for Six days through Online mode due to the pandemic situation of COVID-19. The total number of faculty participated was around 3265 from all the various states across the India, even among them 3 participants from outside the Country like Ethopia, UK regions. This FDP is self learning where daywise schedule has been posted to participants.
The programme is divided into seven sessions including inaugural session. In the inaugural session Principal Dr. A. Srinivasula Reddy, HOD CSE Dr. Sheo Kumar, Dr. M. Kumarswamy, Professor has shared the online session through Cisco WebEx Platform along with the various faculty members from different colleges across India. The inaugural session has started with Saraswasti Mantra which is played by the coordinator Mr. Mrutyunjaya S Yalawar, Assistant Professor through Online mode. In the main FDP, Mr. Mrutyunjaya S Yalawar, the coordinator has addressed about the FDP course, advantage and usefulness with the help of Website which is created specifically for of the FDP of Python 3.4.3 & Python Django to the all faculty members/participants.
For this FDP, We created the Website https://muttusy.wixsite.com/csecmrecfdp as a platform for all the various Participants to access all the information, materials, Day wise Schedule information, and Quiz links of FDP which can be easily accessible daily. Along with the website, we also created around 5 WhatsApp Groups with 1 Telegram Group for the all participants to get update of FDP daily information in a specific time as mentioned by the FDP Coordinator.
