Aim & Objective:
The purpose of the Guest Lecture is to introduce the statistical methods that are critical in the performance analysis and selection of information systems. It includes fundamental topics as well as applications: data analysis and representation; probability models; conditional probability and independence, data relationships; correlation; inference with confidence.
Description:
        The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has conducted a Guest lecture on Machine learning for healthcare in collaboration with Institution Innovative Council on 29/12/2020. CMREC conducted this Guest Lecture through online mode due to the pandemic situation of COVID-19. The total number of students participated was around 86 from Second year. And 10 faculty members joined for this Lecture.
Benefits in terms of Learning:
To provide basic understanding of probabilistic and statistical methods and data analysis, the knowledge of the application of such methods to the evaluation and analysis of communication systems, information technology systems and networks, as well as application to other business models based on statistical data, including inference and hypothesis testing.
