Aim & Objective:
This Guest lecture covers Soft skills required to build the career of the students in all aspects, soft skills play an important role in a successful career as well as during social interactions in the society. These skills are also highly sought after by employers recruiting fresh graduates. The main purpose of this study was to investigate students’ perceptions of the importance of soft skills for their education and employment.
Description
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has conducted Guest Lecture”Importance on Soft Skills” on 14th November 2019 to meet out curriculum gap between Industry and Academics. This Program was conducted by MHRD’s Innovation Cell Govt of India in CMREC . The total number of students participated was 200. The trainer, Dr.Manoharan Soft Skills ,Entrepreneurship Development, Stress/Health Faculty& Motivational Speaker.
The programme was started by inaugural session. In the inaugural session HOD CSE Dr. Sheo Kumar, have shared the dais along with the resource person followed by Dr.Manoharan Soft Skills ,Entrepreneurship Development. The inaugural session has started with handover the bouquet to the resource person. Dr.Manoharan addressed the gathering. The inauguration ceremony has concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr. Sheo Kumar HOD CSE.
In the Guest Lecture, Dr.Manoharan has addressed about the Importance of Soft Skills , advantages in various fields in Industry as well as in Academics.
At the end of the Guest Lecture most of the students are satisfied and feedback says that it will be quite helpful for them for future perspective.
Valedictory function followed by certificate distribution to all the participants by Dr.A.Srinivasula Reddy , Principal CMREC & Dr .Sheo Kumar HOD, CSE and Resource Person. The workshop has ended with Felicitation and presenting memento to the resource person Dr.Manoharan .
