Ms.D.Jaya sree, working as software engineer , was the Speaker for the Guest Lecture program. Total 120 students from CSE attend for this program. The duration of the program was three Hours. She started the session with what is DBMS? – and According to him, “DBMS can be a collection of basic raw of facts, instructions and information. She had also discussed practical use of oracle in IT industry. She explained some basic concepts of joins creation of table , creation of tablespaces, basic data types, difference between basic data types in different versions of oracle. This session was very inspirational, must for every young engineer of IT industry.”
In the same session, she had shown practical implementation of shared locks and deadlock concepts in Oracle. She also explained – How we can resolve these problems using oracle 11 g version. She had created a situation of deadlock in front of all students and also told – how can a DBA can resolve this problem in a industry. The speakers explained all the points in detail and handled all the queries with expertise. It was a great experience as the Guest Lecture was motivational, informative, interactive and student participated with full enthusiasm and spirit.
