As a part of II B.Tech I semester curriculum, this laboratory has been setup to learn theoretical concepts of different Analog and Digital electronics circuits with practical feasibility by giving to the students a scope to learn Analog circuits and Digital circuits in a better way. This laboratory is useful for beginners to understand the basic fundamentals of analog and digital circuits. The lab is well equipped with analog and digital electronic components, so students can design their own circuit. The lab also comprises of Analog and digital trainer kits so as to facilitate verification of the results obtained through the fabricated circuits.
Analog devices are a combination of both analog machine and analog media that can together measure, record, reproduce, receive or broadcast continuous information, for example, the almost infinite number of grades of transparency, voltage, resistance, rotation, or pressure. In theory, the continuous information in an analog signal has an infinite number of possible values with the only limitation on resolution being the accuracy of the analog device. In this lab student can able to design a circuit from simple designing to a complex application oriented design.In today’s modern world, the usage of digital technology is mandatory and unavoidable, applications such as internet, wireless broadcasting systems, Smart Television, computers, industry automation systems, music players etc., are really very reliable and accurate in quality and performance. In this Lab, a student can learn the fundamental aspects of digital mathematical and logical operations by hardware methodologies. A student can understand and can design all types of combinational and sequential circuits .
Ambience:
Lab is designed with good acoustic and lighting: Laboratory is designed with very good acoustic, air-circulation, fans, Fluorescent lighting in this lab, which gives bright and clear circumstances. While making the electrical connections and handling with high power equipments, Electrical safety measures have been provided. Instruments which are used are provided with proper insulation and with guidance.
- Laboratory displayed with Experiment list: Lab consists of charts which give information regarding experiments for the academic year going to be performed by the students.
- Laboratory displayed with major equipment details: In this laboratory mainly we used Digital Kits and Electronic components which are required to make connections of all the analog and digital circuits. Required to perform experiments and lab consists of charts of major equipments which give information regarding working principle of these components.
- Safety guidelines chart is displayed in the lab: Lab consists of a chart which gives information regarding safety precautions need to be followed by the students when they are performing experiments.
- Laboratory is well furnished: In this laboratory students will work individually. However, the lab reports will be written individually. Proper stools, benches, and rack for keeping bags and maintained in good manner. It also consists of Reports that are due at the beginning of the lab period. The reports are intended to be a complete documentation of the work done in preparation for and during the lab. The report should be complete so that someone else familiar with digital and analog circuits could use it to verify your work.
- Lab maintained with LCD projector: It consists of LCD projector with audio system required to explain experiments need to be performed by students. Projector helps in designing circuits in proper way. It also required for explaining slides on experiments.
- Laboratory consist display charts: The lab is equipped with display charts which gives information regarding the lab time-table, faculty details and lab curriculum for the academic year. The display charts also includes some famous scientists and their work in the field of science.
