In the academic setup, a course file is essentially a document that includes all the necessary details regarding COs, mapping, Target of COs and attainment, Semester session Plan, Sample T-L resources, assignments, mid-term papers and end-term papers.All universities usually mandate the need to keep a course file by the faculties, and most are quite strict on following it too.Course File is one of the most important resources used by academic staff, it takes big effort each semester to collect its components: syllabus, teaching materials, assignments, exams, and other components, and it must be ready at end of semester to be checked and transferred to use for next semester.The focus of course design is to put together the optimal learning experiences for students in an environment that is supportive and appreciative of learning and intellectual development. The backdrop behind effective course design is that the courses themselves constitute the foundation of teaching and learning.
