COMMITTEES
The governing Body shall perform the following functions:
- To organize the teaching and determine the teaching requirement in the college
- To monitor and evaluate the teaching programmes in the college and suggest remedial measures. The Governing body will be assisted in its function by an Advisory Committee comprising of three professional in the field. The Advisory Committee is constituted by the Governing Body which will be submitting a technical inspection report for every six months on the standard of teaching and the progress of studies in the college to the body. The report also comprises the laid down curriculum and norms of University with a copy endorsed to the University
- To appoint the Principal / Director, the teaching and non-teaching staff on the recommendations of the selection committees constituted under the relevant regulations of the University
- To monitor faculty deployment and development, placement and industry-institute interacting activities in the institute/college and suggest remedial measures wherever necessary
- To perform such other duties and exercise such other powers as may be entrusted by the management and the University
- To ensure the establishment and supervise proper, effective and efficient systems of control and accountability
- To monitor institutional performance and quality assurance arrangements
- To promote transparency and openness at every level
The Academic Council shall primarily be concerned with all the academic affairs of the college, encompassing academic staff, academic planning, instructional issues, students, co-curricular activities, residence halls and discipline and so on. It is the responsibility of Academic Council to endeavor and ensure the best practices are implemented and standards are maintained.
Functions & Responsibilities:
- Framing and revising the curriculum of every academic program of the college (As per norms).
- Arranging teaching requirements for completing academic programs.
- Making arrangements for conducting examinations, as required.
- Recommending the Governing Council for conferment of degrees and other academic titles.
- Supervising the functioning of the Central Library of the college.
- Promoting research activity within the college.
- Collaborating with other academic institutes and industry.
- Creating a conducive environment in order to develop entrepreneurship.
- Ensuring discipline amongst the students.
- Facilitating and supervising the co-curricular activities for the students.
- Encouraging students with awards, stipends, scholarships, medals and prizes.
- Guiding students to utilize the placement and training activities for their career enhancement.
- Appointing committees from amongst the college teaching faculty and experts from outside, in order to sort out and advise on specific academic issues. Consequently, acting on the recommendations of such committees after due considerations.
- Appointing a review committee periodically, in order to review all the institute academic activities, including the curricula, academic rules and regulations. Consequently, acting on its recommendations after due considerations.
- Planning and executing the overall academic growth of the college including apprising. Finally making recommendations to the Governing Council, wherever necessary.
Functions & Responsibilities:
- First and foremost to develop the student-teacher relationship bond.
- Assisting the students in their learning process.
- Addressing and solving their various issues.
- Flourishing relationship with parents and organizing meetings for them.
- Organizing special coaching for slow learners.
- Conducting periodic meetings to talk over student welfare. By organizing activities and facilitating student interests.
- To suggest various co-curricular & extra-curricular activities to be organized in an academic year.
- To suggest various improvements for the existing bodies such an ISTE student chapter, IEEE student chapter and Art of Living.
- To prepare proposals for conducting State Level and National Level events in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
- Managing the needs for co-curricular extracurricular activities.
Functions & Responsibilities:
- Seek timeline and action plan from each department for Direct and Indirect assessment and ensure its compliance.
- To conduct end of semester analysis of results and achievement of POs / PSOs for all departments.
- Prepare annual report of success / failures on various parameters.
- Taking corrective actions and additional inputs for meeting POs / PSOs.
- To audit academic course files.
CMREC Finance Committee shall act as an advisory body to the Governing Body, to consider budget estimates relating to the grant received/receivable from UGC, and income from fees, etc. collected for the activities to undertake the scheme of autonomy and audited accounts
ROLE OF FINANCE COMMITTEE
- CMREC Finance Committee provides financial analysis, advice, and oversight of the organizations budget.
- Decision making institution budget approval and sanction for all departments.
- Their sole responsibility is to ensure the organization is operating with the financial resources it needs to provide programs and services to the community.
- Monitoring and planning for the institution’s financial position and financial control systems
- Ensuring that the governing body discharges its financial responsibilities correctly and that the institution remains financially viable at all times.

Functions & Responsibilities
- To send proposals to AICTE, UGC etc., for continuation of approval / introduction of new courses / Reduction in Intake / Closure of Course etc.
- To send the proposals to university for extension of affiliation.
- To prepare, implement and execute strategic plan.
- To co-ordinate among the departments to apply for various schemes/grants to AICTE and other funding agencies.
- To plan and execute various activities to be conducted in a year.

Procedure
The person concerned with any grievance shall fill the Grievance Redressal Form with all possible facts and documentation and submit it to the Principal’s office. The committee will investigate into the matter and shall try to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Involvement of students
Certain students are nominated for this committee. If the victim is not satisfied with the recommendations of the GRC, the victim approaches the nominated students and these students raise the grievances of the victim again in GRC meeting.
Guidelines for Grievance Redressal
- The grievant has to submit grievance in writing to the Principal or Grievance Cell. Grievance could also be submitted by e-mail using grievance@cmrec.ac.in or login Online Grievance Redressal System
- Grievance shall be considered at the earliest but in any case not later than a week.
- The cell shall hear the concerns of all parties involved.
- Complainants and Respondents shall be present in person before the cell for all hearings.
- The cell shall be committed to maintain the confidentiality of information throughout the process.
- Grievance with legal complexity like sexual harassment/misconduct or of other criminal nature shall be dealt with after taking advice from appropriate legal consultants/authorities.
- The grievance cell shall find the facts and evolve a solution which is submitted to the principal for further action.
Functions & Responsibilities:
- To ensure the examinations are conducted properly.
- To ensure the set question papers are as per Blooms level at high standards.
- To ensure the evaluation is done meticulously.
- To conduct the examination as per the schedule.
- To recommend the required volumes, titles of books, Journals, Magazines, News papers, Audio video CDs and infrastructure as per AICTE/ JNTU norms
- To check the correctness in the stock register/ Accession register and prepare a monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual report and submit to the Principal
- To have book reviews and reading sessions by the students in the Library
- To bring to the notice of the principal any complaints / suggestions from the students / staff
- To coordinate among students, staff and understand the library needs and inform the librarian
- To organize various functions and activities such as library week, or to install clubs such as reading club essentially to develop a very interactive, vibrant reading and library usage culture among the students and staff
- To organize library audit once a year
Functions & Responsibilities:
- Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
- Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.
- Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
- Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.
- Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.
- Documentation of the various programmes / activities leading to quality improvement.
- Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.
- Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining /enhancing the institutional quality.
- Development of quality culture in the institution.
- Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report(AQAR).
Functions & Responsibilities:
- All issues related to SC / ST.
- Registering the complaints in written from SC / ST teachers, officers, employees, and students to address it to the concerned department / person / section for its peaceful resolution.
- Nomination of SC / ST students for Cell at Institute level.
- To monitor the SC / ST book bank schemes and its proper utilization.
