Software Engineering lab is a part of II B. Tech II semester Autonomous R20 Regulation for IT students. The purpose of the Software Engineering is to enable students to understand the Problem Analysis and Requirement Analysis. The Students can understand the project plan. The plan includes work assessments of the project, the schedule, available resources, and risk management. It helps us to create and specify software design based on the requirement specification through which prototype model can be built. We teach the student to learn how to develop a project plan, how to assess the risk, how to analyse risk information sheet etc. Also the students can come to learn about the various testing techniques with recommended systems/software requirements following the university prescribed textbooks and Lab manuals
The expected outcomes from the students are:
- Ability to translate end-user requirements into system and software requirements
- Ability to generate a high-level design of the system from the software requirements
- Will have experience and/or awareness of testing problems and will be able to develop a simple testing report
